The desire to impact lives by transforming homes, is what motivated the start of Studio Taryn B. Taryn’s creative journey started early. She was a dancer growing up, and then studied photography and went on to became a photo journalist for Die Burger newspaper. Taryn eventually started her own successful photography business, capturing the magic of Weddings and family moments.
It was only after starting her own family that she fell in love with all things related to home design. She found herself often dreaming about wall colours and spending any free time researching the latest home trends. This passion really accelerated when she and her husband decided to renovate their family Hotel in Cape Town’s northern suburbs. Being actively involved in that massive undertaking led to her seeking the technical skills needed to compliment her creativity. Her natural ability to visualize beautiful spaces and problem solve, form a formidable combination in the art of transforming spaces.
Having completed her Diploma In Interior Design, with a specialisation in Kitchen and Bathroom Design, Taryn is well equipped to confidently serve clients in Cape Town. Clients living abroad would benefit from her Edesign.
